My Students

This year I am teaching first grade. It has been a great start to the year and the students are quickly leaning what school is all about. Most of my students have never had face to face learning because of distance learning last year.

My Project

Now that students are back to in person learning I want to provide them with the most comfortable environment possible. Many of my students have only had the experience of doing school at home. I think it’s important to provide an environment where they are allowed to choose where they will do their best learning. It is hard for kids to always sit on a rug, not to mention uncomfortable. I would like to offer a variety of places to sit, like stools and pillows, but still focus and participate with peers during whole group instruction.
