The students in my school are all hard workers and willing to learn.
Most of the students I work with on a daily basis are struggling learners.
They all enjoy using technology and learning in different ways. They excel when they are learning in a fun and motivating way. The students in my school are grateful for any tools, books, and resources to help with learning. They are helpers, thinkers, and learners. They want to be successful in everything that they do. These students are 21st century learners.
My Project
Many of the students we work with struggle with various concepts in the areas of reading and math. These Math and Reading workbooks will be used in small groups during RTI, so the students can have a better understanding of the concepts being taught.
They will also be working on Common Core reading and math skills required for life.
This will continue to help us differentiate the materials for our students based on their present level of performance. We work with students in grades K-5, so it is necessary to have materials at all different grade levels. We want struggling learners to feel successful in school, so these resources will certainly help make math and reading much more interesting and enjoyable.
