My Students
My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, full of smiles, eager and ready to learn! One of my favorite parts of being a teacher is watching these kiddos grow and develop into amazing individuals. They form opinions, ask questions, make new friends, learn to communicate with each other, and so much more.
I teach at a Title I school in Kansas City, MO where the majority of the students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Many of my students receive backpack food on the weekend, donated clothes, coats, and uniforms. Despite the hardships that many families go through, they understand that education is the key for their children.
Teaching kindergarten is a joy. I want to give my students the absolute best education and experience while they are in my room. Although I have a lot of love to give, unfortunately that doesn't buy the supplies that are ALWAYS needed.

My Project
My kiddos love learning! They love to ask questions and to, as we say, "grow their brains". We use many different ways to learn. Blocks, rulers, and tiles can be used for math activities. CVC blocks and games are used for our emergent readers. Headphones can be used for testing and for quiet reading times. We will use these materials on a daily basis and for many activities.
Providing the best education for these students is my #1 goal.
