My students need dry erase boards and markers for independent responses during instruction. Having dictionaries will improve their spelling skills and help them define new words. They need clipboards for note taking throughout the school day.
I'm currently teaching 15 gifted and talented students. My students are excelling in all subject areas and constantly need to be challenged. They are unique and have a wide range of learning styles and abilities. These students are very bright, hardworking, and dedicated learners. They love reading, solving challenging math problems, and learn best through hands on engaging activities. I love that they are eager to learn and have a positive attitude towards school. My students are well behaved and are leaders on the right path to academic success.
Adding these necessary learning tools and resources to our classroom will make a big difference during instructional and independent learning time. My students will be able to take notes throughout the day with their notepads attached to the clipboards.
Checking for understanding of content is essential during teaching and the white boards will give my students the opportunity to share what they know with quick responses.
Third grade is a year where learning dictionary skills is vital to learning and my students will have the opportunity to learn new words, the correct spelling of words, and the definition of those words.
