My students are 4 and 5-year-old children who all have the desire and ability to be anyone and do anything if they are just given the opportunity, encouragement, and tools!
Our class is made up of students from many backgrounds within the community.
They come in every day ready to see what new things they are going to learn about today. Pre-k is such a special grade, where a child has their first experience with school. I want to be the kind of teacher who provides excitement and inspiration for my students to carry on throughout the years.
My Project
The use of learning games, blocks, and toys is essential in the preschool classroom. By adding these new learning tools to our room, our students will have the ability to have new, clean resources to use. It will also add to what we already have and give our students more options. This will help to keep them engaged and socially distanced at the same time.
It is important that we have plenty of resources for our student to use on their own now that we are going back to school face to face!
I ordered two of some of the materials like the learning tablets so 2 students could work near each other but have their own tablet. This helps to keep them safe but also allows them to interact with each other.
I also ordered some storage bins so we could safely store and organize all of our materials so they are clean and easy to access.
