This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Inner city, ghetto, poor, and black are several adjectives that most would describe my students from the outside looking in, but I am here to be the main advocate for them. Yes, they may live in low income areas with little to no opportunity, but that does not define them.
My scholars are ambitious, charismatic, determined innovators, successors, and an all around definition of black excellence who are awaiting opportunity and chance from myself and you!

My Project
My students are PRIDEFUL and learn like CHAMPIONS. Some are less fortunate than others. My students and I could really use your help with funding materials in our class. I want to create a positive learning environment where everyone is engaged and learning. Some tools we need are journals, white boards, and materials used to help with the basic building blocks in literature. I want to promote growth and learning through hands on methods they may not be used to. They are all so eager for the upcoming year! With your help, we can be great!
