This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My honors chemistry students are all planning to take science classes in college. I want them to be able to prove their ability in chemistry to their future college science departments. An excellent score on the SAT subject test in chemistry will do just that!

Many of my students do not have access to the same educational resources as some of their more well-to-do peers in other more well-to-do school districts.

Test-prep classes, private tutoring, and test-prep books are not an option for most of them. While my students have been working incredibly hard in honors chemistry this year, I want to provide them with as many advantages as possible.

My Project

My honors chemistry class has been preparing all year for the SAT Subject Test in chemistry which they will all be taking on June 7, 2014. A high-quality test prep book will provide them with the rigorous review they need leading up to this very important test.

When my students arrive at college, their academic abilities are unfortunately sometimes questioned by people who judge them based on where they're from or where they went to high school.

I want to be sure that my students (and their future college professors) are 100% confident in their exceptional academic ability in chemistry. An excellent score on the SAT subject test in chemistry can go a long way to ensuring just that! No one can question it and no one can take it away!
