101 is Tons of Fun!

Help me give my students a 101 Dalmatian Day as a way to Celebrate our 101st Day of School together as a grade level.

My Project

We keep track of the days we have been in school together every morning during our morning meeting/calendar time. We celebrate on specials days like day 50 and day 100. This year our first-grade team is going to celebrate the 101st day of school Dalmatian style. The children will create their own t-shirt with the spots on it. We will do math rotations, including counting money, using fire hydrant as markers. I know they will squeal with delight when they walk into our Dalmatian decorated room. My first grader will complete STEM challenges building dog houses and stacking 101 cups with spots on them. It will be a special day to celebrate the hard work they have done so far this school year.

We are "PAWS" itively certain lots of DOGGONE good work will be happening in our classroom!

We will talk about all the learning we have done, and the learning yet to come. We will re-visit our hopes and dreams from the beginning of the year and see if we are on our way to meeting those goals. No BONES about it, we'd love to have you join our Special Day and help us have TONS of fun learning together.
