My Students

We are an International Baccalaureate Magnet school that is committed to providing students with Spanish Language and a knowledge and understanding of a variety of cultures.

We are a community that believes in a comprehensive approach to teaching and learning through which students become inquirers, critical thinkers and communicators.

We celebrate the diversity of our students who are: Native American, African American, Asian American, Hispanic American, and European American.We have strong connections with the neighborhood community that support IB learning. We are supported by a local cafe, an art museum, and music program. Our students work hard to be global citizens who give back to the community.

My Project

Learning responsible use of technology begins in Kindergarten! We currently have brand new iPads waiting for us to use. After 100 days of Kindergarten we are more than ready! Our students will use technology to: read, practice learning skills, complete individualized math lessons, create multimedia projects, and learn about people all over the world.

Our IB Learner Profile encourages us to be communicators.

Technology is a powerful way to communicate and share ideas. We want to ensure the technology we have we last for many years. We need durable iPad cases to make this technology accessible to all of our students.
