1 Fish, 2 Fish, We are HS Students with Homeless Fish
My students need a complete aquarium set up for our fish. They need to move on up from a fish bowl to an aquarium!
This project expired on May 9, 2014.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Fish are calming and also double as a live habitat to observe in science lessons. Our classroom is in dire need of both!
My special needs classroom of high school students is located in a high-need, urban area of California.
These students are very gifted when given the proper opportunity to succeed; however, fundamental resources (science supplies) are often scarce.
This project is part of a much larger transformation in science and technology integration for our class. This aquarium set will help enhance our students' learning opportunities and help teach science skills which are so necessary for students to compete on the global stage. Science is an essential part of education and aids our students in becoming highly active members in our society.
Your donation will not only help encourage growth in fundamental academic skills, but will also increase the calming atmosphere that we are striving for.
Our students need consistent and early access to science and technology so that they are able to fully integrate into a scientific and technologically-driven society.
Fish are beautiful to watch, especially when feeling the stress our students almost always feel and provide several learning opportunities that are so needed!
