My students need a new classroom rug for classroom activities. Each student will have their own special spot on the rug.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach 22 bright and eager kindergarten students at a rural school in southeast Georgia. Most students in my classroom come from single-parent, low socioeconomic households and also qualify for free or reduced price lunch.
I teach a very diverse group of students.
Children in my class are English language learners, children on the autism spectrum, and children with developmental delays. My students love to learn and explore the world around them. They are eager to learn and try new things.
In my kindergarten classroom, we do a lot of sitting on the floor. Students sit and listen to a story, read with a partner, or even work on a small group activity on the floor.
This rug will be used daily.
The rug selected has a spot for each student, their own "personal space." Using tape or other things on our carpet to designate a seat can be difficult as it messes up a carpet. We would like this rug to not only brighten up our classroom, but also to give students a designated place to sit.
