My students need 20 lightweight computer headphones and four stereo headphones.
My high achieving students love the computer but can not complete learning programs due to not being able to hear them. I teach first graders in the a midst of high needs community. We are also a Title I school.
This year we have a new early literacy computer program. It appears to be a program that will grab the attention of our students however you have to be able to hear the instructions. Many of the students try to do the program by trial and error. They love the graphics and it keeps their attention. They show a desire to keep trying to master the steps in it. We have a few headphones in our lab but not enough for all the students to use at one time plus we do not have any for our classroom computers.
We need classroom headphones and we would like to have headphones to take to the computer lab. These phones would greatly improve my students' progress within the literacy program as well help them in all the learning programs they have access to. They are really eager to become computer savvy and I know that they really need it to continue to be high achieving students.
Your help with grant my students the ability to work their way through computer programs at a reasonable rate. Your help will also empower my students to continue to be the high achievers that they are.
