My Students

Mine are an amazing group of 110 students - full of creativity, compassion, academic strengths, and leadership skills. I am proud to be a fourth grade teacher at this diverse school in rural Kentucky, and part of an exceptional school district.

Our students and their families are navigating an unknown situation with many concerns about social-emotional health, academic progress, and long-term effects of a pandemic shutdown.

With your support, we can provide an invaluable resource to assist in our district's efforts to make our 2020-2021 school as WONDERFUL as possible, in physical safety and social-emotional health - while maintaining and supporting our always-high academic standards.

My Project

Because ALL 110 of my fourth-grade students are fully virtual and learning at home, due to a temporary shut down of all Kentucky schools, it is more important than ever that resources used for virtual learning are engaging, relevant, and rigorous.

Your support provides $100 of digital resources on Teachers Pay Teachers that I plan to use toward the absolute BEST digital resources available, from credible teacher-authors - all to support, teach, and encourage my students in SOARING in fourth grade - at home or at school!

From digital break-outs, choice boards, project-based-learning tasks, and virtual field trips - my students will be impacted tremendously, in so many academic areas, with your support.
