Hooray! This project is fully funded
I am requesting materials that will allow my disadvantaged students more of an opportunity to use creativity to enrich the curriculum.
I would like to purchase a die cut machine. This machine has various die cuts for throughout the year and also letters. The shapes, cut outs and letters that would be used from this machine would be used for Science Fair displays and creating other projects. Additionally, I can use this machine to create wonderful places to display the work of the children and present it in a positive and nice way.
Children enjoy the opportunity to share with others their knowledge and their work. By being able to have this resource available to us, I believe it will encourage the children to take more risks at presenting their ideas and projects. If the projects look neat, organized and presentable it will be easier for the children to feel confident about their work.
This machine can be used in all subject areas and if, several different die cuts can be purchased it will be a valuable tool for the entire school.
Along with the die cut machine I would like a DVD player/recorder. Very often I will tape the children when they are doing their presentations. We have the digital recorder, but no means by which to record it from the small tape to a DVD for viewing. Furthermore, we do not have a DVD player. By having this along with the die cut creations our children will have the opportunity to do incredible presentations for their families, classmates and community members.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Your support for our less fortunate children is truly appreciated.
