Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Interactive technology brings differentiation straight to the teacher and student's fingertips. My students would greatly benefit from this technology because it brings hands on learning right into the room along with appealing to kinetic and visual learning enhancement.

My students come from a family oriented community mainly comprised of Hispanic and other minority groups.

They are eager learners who might have 504 Plans that this technology will assist in complying with. My school is a title I school and we are striving to meet AYP every year by reaching each and every student any way we can.

My Project

The resource I am requesting, a SmartBoard-which brings technology visually and kinesthetically directly to my student-brings hands on learning right to the classroom. When I have used this technology in previous classrooms the students have expressed that "math is fun" and they now understand math in a way they never have before. This technology will bring the learning right to my students' fingertips!

My project is important because my students are important.

They are tomorrows leaders and will take their place in society with a well rounded education. The interactivity of this project will greatly help me in reaching all of my learners.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
