Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

I teach second grade and have a wide-range of reading abilities. I have read many great things about allowing students to create their own books on tape by using the books they write and the books in our classroom. I would like to purchase digital recorders and CD walkmans so that my students may record, create, and listen to these CD recordings to foster reading in our classroom.
