This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students lack the technology at my school to keep up with other students in today's society. We need new laptops to do research, presentations, and experiments.

Many of my students come from low income families and broken single parent homes.

They lack the technology at home and at our school, so therefore they are falling behind with the development of needed technological skills for today's changing society. My students are eager to learn and put forth their best effort at all times. They are thinkers, creators, dreamers and doers. They have grown to realize that regardless of your surroundings, you can become anything you desire. They have also gained the understanding that with education and faith they can do what others think is impossible. With your help, we can make my students' dreams come true. I have high expectations

My Project

I am asking for your help to get a new Compaq Laptop for my students to use because our school still has CPU's with Windows 97 that rarely work. Students can use this laptop to do research, presentations, and much more. I teach at a Title 1, low income school that lacks the technology to prepare our students to make the transition from middle school into high school. Our school still has CPU's with Windows 97 that are unreliable. PLEASE HELP me get these materials for my classroom, so that we can excel.

I am asking for your help to get new Compaq Laptops for my students to use because our school still has CPU's with Windows 97 that rarely work.

Students can use this laptop to do research, presentations, and much more. It would be great to be able to record their performances and watch them. This would also be great for them to self reflect on their performances. These items will allow my students an opportunity to enhance their skills using technology.
