I teach science/math to a high-need community of students from all over the world, with the sounds of Mandarin, Spanish, Russian, English, Cantonese, Hungarian, Urdu, Polish, Arabic, Ukrainian, Bengali, and Uzbek reverberating through our halls.
Our Teen Garden Team is working around the clock to start an indoor hydroponic farm.
We have abundant indoor classroom space. We have a dedicated and innovative staff. We have a supportive principal. We have inspired student involvement. We are ready to move ahead with our indoor school farm. All we need is a few supplies to make our dreams a reality.
My Project
In order to get our farm up and running and to make the most of our growing season, we need to be able to start our seeds indoors. These grow lights and supplies will afford us the opportunity to grow during the winter months. This is your opportunity to empower youth to learn more about issues of health and nutrition.
With your gift, our students will be able to jump start their indoor farm, grow their own food for their community, and learn about science in the natural world through hands on exploration.
