I teach middle school science and I have my students use construction paper to write their vocabulary. The students write the word, definition, and then draw a picture that represents the definition. This helps to cement the science concept. I have 150 students and they will do a new vocabulary tri-fold about every 2 weeks. For many students this gives them a great foundation for the upcoming chapter.
