My students need a listening center to improve literacy and fluency in reading.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I am working on building my literacy centers in my classroom. I would like to make them more engaging for my students.
Our school is located in Louisiana.
We are an arts and technology driven school. My students are second graders from a low socioeconomic background. We have extended school hours in order to provide additional instructional time as well as extracurricular activities.
I am a second year teacher and I am trying to build my literacy centers, and make them more engaging for my students. I would like a listening center to help students with reading fluency as well as improving their literacy skills. A listening center would open the door for them to read along with an audio aide independently and to help them read with more "feeling."
This listening center will provide the students with an engaging activity during center time, while improving their literacy skills.
It will improve reading fluency and help improve their own reading skills. This is an activity they will also be able to do independently.
