With guided and independent practice in reading, using a simultaneous delivery system of audio and visual computer-based graduated reading levels, teens quickly become swept away by their quick success in developing fluency and comprehension. Both the self-monitoring process to passing levels quickly and the 'independent' format of using a computer-based delivery lead to a real affection for this program. I have used the Read Naturally Method with teens in middle-school and finding success in utilizing it in high-school. As a resource specialist, I serve students who may be both mildly Learning Disabled and English Language Learners, or while a LD student in an honors class, still need to practice phrasing, accuracy and other aspects of reading that lead to deeper levels of text comprehension. I have previously observed great pride and joy taking over where confusion and depression over reading growth issues formerly existed, in a very short time with this program We need multiple levels as we serve students who read from first to approximately eighth grade levels. We need levels: 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and 5.0 stand-alone computer version for PC. If you want to see/hear older students get the same joy out of reading practice as they do out of sports practice, please fund us!
