My Students

Help us reach our dream of becoming published authors!

My students are struggling readers in a K-5 elementary school.

They are a diverse group of learners. My students dream of being able to be as successful as their classmates. One way that I can help them with this is by supporting them with their writing.

My Project

Many of my students dream of being able to write and to be able to share their writing with others. Many of them have great ideas but just need some support along the way. These resources would allow my students to take their writing to the publishing stage. My students would use the no-smear Bic markers to write their final draft on their manuscript. The spacers allow those students who have difficulty naturally placing spaces between words to have a concrete way to accomplish this. The corrective tape would allow them to seamlessly correct any inadvertent errors during the writing of their final draft. These manuscripts will then be bound and shared with their classmates and families.
