My Students

There are too many hot spots in the classroom, the teacher can't be everywhere at once to put out the fires. Imagine a tool that allows a teacher to be all over the room and still have the ability to teach the lesson!

My math students range from freshmen through juniors.

Freshmen who need to know that the teacher is a step away when help is needed. Sophomores who think they are independent but still want to know you are near. And, juniors who are not afraid to call you over when they get stuck.

My Project

A wireless slate is an amazing, cool tool that a teacher can use to be anywhere in the classroom at any time while still teaching the lesson of the day. How? The slate allows the teacher to write and teach while walking around the room. The teacher has the ability to be at all the hot spots, if needed. The teacher also has the ability to save the notes to the Internet so the students can open them if needed. The slate hooks the students into watching (and ultimately learning and absorbing) the day's lesson. The student is in wonder of where the teacher will be next!

Help me advance my classroom to the technological age!

Help me be all over the classroom and still have the ability to teach! Help me reach the students who just need to see math differently (rather than lecture/notes)! Help me to hook students into learning math for future success!
