My Students

"If we teach today as we taught yesterday, we rob our children of tomorrow."--John Dewey Dewey was right. If we don't give our students every opportunity to be competitive in college or the work-force, we do them a disservice.

They are smart.

They are challenged. They are funny. They are my favorite people to spend time with. My students make me laugh and make me cry. They live on the southern end of an Indian Reservation. The majority of my students come from poverty. I aim to give them the most enriching educational experience I can give them.

My Project

I envision a classroom in which my students are surrounded with the latest technology. We have come so far with generous donations. We now need a tablet computer and speakers which I will use to seamlessly blend all of our technology components together. Through modeling and training, my students will also use this resource for presentations, group projects, and research.

My students are excited to use such cutting edge technology at a high school level.

It is so important for them to be able to understand where we are headed, so that when they get to college they aren't lost in the technology available to them. Help me to give them those advantages.
