I wish all students would Flip over books! I teach 5th grade exceptional education students and my goal is to open their eyes to the adventures in books so they will Flip into life long readers.

My students don't understand that books can be so much better than movies. I need them to read books and to motivate each other to read by "selling" their books in video book trailers just like movie producers sell their movies through movie trailers.

I need these video Flip cameras for my students to produce video book trailers to get the other readers motivated. In these trailers they would give information about the characters, vocabulary, and just enough of the plot to get the other students intrigued so they will read the book themselves.

It is important to continuously present books in the most exciting ways possible so students will read without being forced to. Reading is essential in all walks of life. These video book trailers will motivate even the most stubborn nonreaders. Just think, you could inspire these struggling readers to Flip over books!
