This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

WORDS make the WORLD go round! I teach English and math to 2nd grade students at a low-income elementary school in Texas.

As a teacher I want the best for my students. However, upon arriving at this school I realized that there are no dictionaries for students to learn basic skills from! My students are unfamiliar with how to look up words and have a limited vocabulary! How can that be?

This is where you come in! We'd love to learn how to use a dictionary and open our lives to the world that new words can give us!

Your contribution will help to enrich these students' lives with new words and help ensure them success in their future wonderings and studies.
