Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

I teach 100 8th graders in an inner city charter school. My school is a Title 1 school with limited supplies.

What Have We Learned from our Past? Many of my students do not have access to daily newspapers, and the Current Event Magazine would help my students compare the past with the present more effectively.

I need 25 copies of Current Event magazine for my students to share. They will help students understand today's historical events and lead them in discussions about how the past and present are connected.

Your donation will offer this opportunity to my students. they will not get this valuable resource unless you can help us out.
