Cooking with Cougar Kindergarten Part 2

Students in this kindergarten classroom are from a diverse social, cultural and economical background.
Kindergartners can learn while cooking. However, the projects we are able to do are limited due to a lack of supplies.
Students need kitchen tools and appliances to use while cooking. These tools include an electric skillet, can opener, and a variety of other cooking tools to help them complete weekly projects. These cooking tools will enable students to participate in hands on learning activities that will increase learning opportunities in math, science, and reading.
You will make it possible for my students to successfully complete developmentally appropriate cooking centers in which their reading, math and science skills will be increased. Children do not always get the opportunity to cook with their parents due to our busy culture. However, your funding will enable them to participate in this life long learning experience. Thank you.
