Any student who can effectively and efficiently use technology is nearly guaranteed success during their career as an adult. I am teaching students during their crucial middle school years where they are finding what intrigues them. I currently teach technology to 6th, 7th & 8th graders in Nebraska, and just like any other state, these students need to be hooked on what technology can do for them and their future.

The current focus is on traditional technology, the computer. This is extremely point and click centered. While some students excel at point and click methods, others are hindered by it.

By investing in graphical tablets, students will have the opportunity to use "pencil skills" in interfacing with the computer. Students that have previously been limited by the point and click interface will receive a new found glory in excelling in something that frustrated them earlier.

With your help, students can be given an additional method to achieve success. Students know that there's more than one way to achieve tasks, and when the methods are limited, success is limited. Open up new roads to success. Thank You.
