My students love to listen....(although not always to me!). I teach a class of 19 Kindergarten students ranging in age from 5-6. They are a great group of kids, with energetic little personalities!

My students love listening to songs and books on tape. They practically beg for opportunities to listen to stories or songs during center time. Unfortunately, my classroom does not have up to date listening equipment. Often we find ourselves with only one working set of headphones. One pair of headphones is simply not enough for a class full of inquiring 5 year olds.

By creating a wireless listening center, students will be free from wires/cords and will be free to move about the room while they enjoy listening to stories and songs. Since students will no longer be tied to the "power cord," they will be able to spread out and enjoy their listening.

Your help will allow my class of kindergarteners to enjoy the listening center again. It will allow more of my students to experience books being read aloud, songs being sung, and rhymes being chanted.
