English Language Arst and Math (Algebra and Geometry)10th and 11th grade students with IEP's being serviced in a separate setting. Majority of the students are English Language Learners. An inner city school; 53% student's first language is not English and 72% of the students are considered low-income.

Our class has limited technology and supplies but these students need to become citizens of the 21st century. They have the interest in digital technology - they need daily hands on activities. This just may be the way to motivate them to write - revise and write.

I would like each student to have an individual flash drive to privately store their class assignments and creative writing.

Your help will ensure that my students are using 21st century technology on a daily basis by having a digital journal. The flash drives will also solve much frustration for the students by helping in being able to print out their work in an easier manner; more effort can be focused on assignments.
