Power Up Business Plans & Lessons Through LCD Projection

My students need a LCD projector. At this time they are preparing a 21 page Business Plan (hard copy) in order to participate in a middle school competition. One of the requirements is to have an LCD projector to present their business plan as a powerpoint.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

"OUR BUSINESS PLAN POWERED UP THROUGH LCD PROJECTION" I teach a class called Middle School Success to sixth graders. During my block schedule I teach a course on Entrepreneurship which entails how to start a business, creating a business plan, marketing, economics of one unit, and scheduling of selling events along with field trips to wholesale companies. I also prep students to prepare for business plan competition. They are required to complete a 21 page PowerPoint Business Plan using an LCD projector.

As a new charter school it has been difficult to purchase major AV equipment to assist the students in completing assignments/projects requiring AV equipment such as laptops, desktops, and LCD projects. As inner city students, they work hard to compete and meet the standards to achieve a higher level of educational.

The LCD project will be used to prep and present their 21 page Business Plan during competition with other middle schools throughout CA. Having the opportunity to advance their use of technology,my students will be able to apply and achieve in college and seek various jobs in the future.

My students' future depends on you and I. Please help us so they can become an asset to our society. Your donation will afford my students an opportunity to achieve and possibly win first place and receive an all expense paid trip to New York to compete against other students from various states.
