Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

I have numerous painting students who are talented in mediums such as acrylic and oil paint. However as a school we have very little funds for art. I spend most of the money for supplies that are cheap, like paper and watercolor. I have very little left over for expensive material like canvas and canvas board. The advanced students have been using paper or cardboard to paint on. They are able to develop great projects form these inadequate surfaces but they know (as I do) that a better surface would produce better projects. I am asking for any help I can get in purchasing canvas for the advanced art students. Thank you for your interest and support.
