I am a sixth grade Humanities teacher in the Bronx. I teach over sixty students each day and over 80% of the students in my school receive free lunches. Each month this year my sixth graders will complete history projects. The year will culminate with a final project based upon their writing, research and studies throughout the sixth grade and will include cassette tapes and recorded interviews. In order to preserve and present their portfolios I am hoping for each of my students to have a simple, yet sturdy, portfolio to keep and store their history projects. These portfolios will serve them as they develop and can preserve the fruits of their research skills, writing endeavors and visual presentations. Thank you for your support and generosity.
