We live in a digital world and I must teach my students with the materials that will grab their attention.

My kindergarten students love learning and technology. I want to develop a generation of tech savvy learners. Our district has been very progressive in the technological world but the recent budget cuts we have experienced has ended the availability of equipment and training. I do not want my students to miss out on the opportunity to receive the highest quality instruction.

I feel that the addition of a document camera to our classroom would benefit all of my students. This device would marry traditional materials with technology. I could use the camera to teach both reading and writing lessons. There is no better sound than to hear the gasps of excitement when you switch on a new gadget and know that you have made an impression.
