Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach 25 4th graders at a Title 1 California Distinguished School, which has just achieved an 807 API (up from 550 10 years ago).

English is not the first or home language of many of my students, and most of their families do not have computers at home.

Obtaining a notebook computer to use with our ELMO document reader will instantly give my students pictures and examples of the topics we are studying, thus enhancing their comprehension and leading to English language development, while enabling them to present their projects to the class.

Your generous donation will have far reaching effects toward achievement for all my students, leveling the playing field and bring colorful and attention getting graphics to our lessons.
