Field trips, experiments, and class projects are all things students love about school. Through digital video students can now relive these experiences.

We are a full Title 1 school that needs to find a new way to reach our students. I believe video is part of the solution. I want students to document their learning using camcorders that easily transfer video onto our classroom computers. Students will learn to edit the video, adding additional commentary and factual information to describe their learning on a field trip or to document the steps and results of a classroom experiment. The videos will be uploaded in to our school website where they can be shared with parents and students.

We would love to have 3 Flip video camcorders for the school for student use. I want students to learn the valuable skill of movie making and more so of creative expression.

You have the ability to make it possible for students to take their learning home and rather than saying, "Mom, I wish you could have seen the alligator we saw on our field trip." They can say, "Mom, let's go on line and we can see the video I took of the alligator I saw on our field trip."
