Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

North-Grand High School is a brand new inner-city Chicago Public School, that just this year has opened its doors to the very first freshman class! The students here love the challenge, but sometimes feel discouraged, because there are no extra-curricular activities yet. In order to achieve this and help develop the students we are in the process of starting our sports program. Your donation would make it possible for our school to have it's very first organized baseball team. North-Grand High School has many talented and energetic students who, outside of gym class, have no organized form of outlet for this enthusiasm. Over 75% of our 275 freshman have displayed an overwhelming interest in participating in High School Athletics. With your donation you can help make these hopes come true.
