I teach an enthusiastic classroom full of twenty-six 3rd graders. Most of them read on or above grade level.

My students love to read and are working on developing strong reading comprehension skills. Reading authentic literature out loud together and discussing it is invaluable.

Besides the reading anthology provided by our school district--students need real, live books to read and discuss. My students need 28 copies of "Where the Red Fern Grows", "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes", and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."
