Math to the Rescue

My students need 18 copies of the math reference book Math on Call.

Math on Call is the super hero rescuer to students and parents alike! Teaching math to middle school students is challenging. Parents struggle with helping their children in math as well. Our school is in a diverse community ranging from college educated parents to immigrants from foreign countries.

The way math is taught and learned is constantly changing. Students learn and comprehend in different ways. Their parents try and help and struggle with their own bad memories and phobias. I have a few copies of an incredible reference book that makes understanding math easy for students and their parents but do not have the money to provide each student with a copy to use.

I need to complete my classroom set of Math on Call. It is a reference book that addresses pre-algebra concepts in a clear humorous matter. The book is incredibly user friendly and gives my students the tools they need to help themselves learn. Learning to use a reference book is a life long skill empowering my students to have the tools to learn whatever they need in this world

You can help my students not only understand their math and math homework but help them to learn how to help themselves. We are all familiar with the "If you give a man a fish" proverb, I would like to change that to "If you teach a student how to learn, you fuel their learning forever."
