Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Fifth grade is an exciting time to learn about our great country. As a part of the writing and history curriculum, students write a state report. With modern technology, the art of using a book for research still needs to be taught.

This set of state resource books will provide the class with a wonderful tool to help them write their reports. This set of books is tailored to the fifth grader. Students can find accurate and useful information.

With each child in the class having a different state for their report, class instruction on report writing will be easier. Students will all have a book that follows a similar format. Struggling students will be able to find information and follow a format to write their report.

I know almost every adult remembers writing a report and finding the book or encyclopedia they needed was already checked out from the library. With your generous donation, this set of books will be housed right in our classroom. Students will have the resource at their finger tips. I bet your report would have been easier to write if you had the right book...help me give them the right books. Thank you for you generous donation.
