Thank you for considering my proposal! I am a first grade teacher and I love sharing my passion for reading with students. I have discovered that students are inspired as learners when books come alive. I am requesting story props and puppets to give my students opportunities to bring life to some of their favorite stories. In addition, these props and puppets will allow my students to retell these stories and develop comprehension skills and familiarity with story parts and sequencing. Students will want to read these stories and use the props again and again. This repetition will allow for extended learning and increase their confidence as readers. I appreciate your time and consideration. My students are eager young learners, and we are doing great things in class! Your donation could help us continue to create inspired and passionate readers.
