This is my third year teaching and I have changed grades every year. Next year, I am moving to second grade and my students would really benefit from an interactive calendar rug.

I will be teaching the inclusion (regular education/special education) class next year, and every student will have a variety of needs. It would be beneficial to have my students actively involved in a hands-on routine on a daily basis.

I would love to have an interactive calendar rug in my classroom next year. Children learn best by doing. This rug would allow the children to set up a calendar on a daily basis and learn at a young age important skills that they will need throughout their lives. This is an activity that children will be able to do as a team to help develop their interactions with peers.

You will make my students realize that they can achieve many things by working together and eventually build up the courage to complete tasks independently. The children will have the life skill of calendars to take with them as they continue on through school.
