Imagination Station

My students need a kitchen play center with a stove, sink, refrigerator and some plastic food and dishes. This set will be used over and over for years to come and so, it will benefit hundreds of kindergarten aged children. We are a rural school district and opening up two new kindergarten rooms. We sure could use help with it.

Low income, rural school needs your help! We are a rural school that is offering all day-every day kindergarten for the first time in the fall of 2008. With the added expenses of everyday supplies, money will be tight for the big items. A kitchen play set is a staple for imagination and sharing successes during play time!

At the kindergarten age level, most students learn by copying adults. The kitchen center would be a huge focus in the classroom and would benefit, not only that first class but future classrooms for years and years to come.

The resources we need would be used to fund the big ticket: the actual play furniture. With school grants, rummage sales and my own money, we could stock the kitchen area.

You will be helping to support a child's imagination every time they step into the play area! This is a gift that will keep on giving, too! I realize it is an expensive request but this kitchen/play set can be used over and over and over and over!
