Fire Loss in Second Grade Classroom

My students need a new, colorful 8x10 United States carpet.

Losing our classroom, as well as the entire contents of our Second Grade room, due to a large school fire, was a very devastating and sad experience for my students and me.

Although our school supplies were covered by insurance, special student items which were purchased by me or built by my husband, were not covered by our insurance company. These items made our classroom very inviting and special to my students and have not been replaced.

My students would really appreciate a United States carpet for our reading area, as they spend a lot of time in this area and I want them to be comfortable. Presently, they sit on a tile floor.

The carpet will be a wonderful addition to our geography studies, as well as a cozy place for them to sit and read. Moving to a new classroom will be even more exciting if some of the special items can be replaced.
