My students are a group of AMAZING fourth and fifth grade special education students who attend a low income public school in Louisiana. They have various needs and disabilities who, when motivated, can do amazing work and have excellent minds. I try to provide the tools to provide them a well-rounded, learning experience. Most of the time their outside experience with technology is gaming, YouTube and social sites. I try to help them to see that school can be a safe place to explore and learn, a place that will help them be anything they can dream to be, no matter their needs or disabilities. I have also become the directory of my school's before and after-school program and hope to transform the experience of the students who attend it, I want to inspire every student to become life-long learners with a positive mindset and the grit and perseverance to succeed at anything they attempt in life.
