My students are funny, bright, and are eager learners. They get excited for collaborative projects and new challenges. I am the Gifted Intervention Specialist for 3rd-5th grade reading and math. I have the excellent opportunity to reach a population of students who need enrichment (a learning need) with creative learning in a unique environment. I teach at an Akron Public School where 50% of the students come from low-income households. We call our classroom "Mission Control" to further the theme of collaboration and persevering through challenges as they do at NASA. Thank you for your support!
