I am fortunate to teach in a wonderful magnet school situated just outside of Raleigh. I am a science specialist, which means I have the pleasure of enriching the science learning of all students in my school from Kindergarten all the way to Fifth Grade. My students are inquisitive excited to come to my science lab once a week and I spend my time supporting the regular classroom teachers by extending what they are teaching and helping our students dig deep and think big. In my science lab, we get dirty, ask questions, make predictions, test our ideas and grow with every success and failure. Wendell Elementary is a Creative Arts and Sciences Magnet, which means we strive to incorporate the arts into everything we do.
