BUILD’s FamBiz CEO Simulation Game

BUILD.org, DonorsChoose, and Comcast NBCUniversal are excited to launch a new Classroom Rewards Program! A DonorsChoose Gift Code will be offered to incentivize educators to complete BUILD's new entrepreneurship game, FamBiz.

🚀 Imagine a 60-minute simulation where students become CEOs, making impactful decisions that shape their entrepreneurial journey. It's not just a game; it's FamBiz - BUILD’s latest innovation fostering social-emotional learning, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial skills!

The first 1,000 educators (7th-12th grade only) will be afforded this opportunity. To qualify for the Gift Code:

  1. You must create a Free FamBiz account. Upon entering your email and clicking “start”, you will be redirected to the account creation page.
  2. Register to launch FamBiz. Once you have created an account, this task will be visible on our educator tool kit page.
  3. Create at least one group and indicate how many students you plan to introduce to FamBiz (you must engage 10 students at minimum). Once you have created an account, this task will be visible on our educator tool kit page.
  4. Launch FamBiz with your students and have them complete all three chapters and assessments.
  5. Complete your FamBiz Educator Survey located in your guidebook.
  6. Upload the screenshot of your dashboard on DonorsChoose showing that at least 10 of the students in your group completed FamBiz.

Note: At least 10 students must create an account and complete all three chapters. We are waiving the 80% requirement previously listed.

In the survey, you'll be asked for your contact information and to upload a screenshot of your dashboard from FamBiz.

Once you submit this form* and your response is approved, you'll receive a $300 DonorsChoose gift code via email within three weeks, while funds last.

*Teachers will only be able to earn and redeem 1 gift code from this opportunity. Please note, once you have submitted, our team is unable to make any direct changes or edits to your responses. Disqualified responses may be eligible for resubmission.

Per our Terms of Use, teachers are expected to submit Classroom Reward responses representative of their own classroom students. A violation of this expectation is subject to action and review by DonorsChoose and may result in terminating your use of the site.
