Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is filled with curious students who are eager to try new things. Every day they show up to school with smiles on their faces; I love their enthusiasm for learning!
My students are always looking for new ways to express their creativity!
My class includes 22 bilingual students and most of them don't have resources to show their imaginative sides at home. Yet, they still show up to school ready to tackle any task.
In our class, we are a team, but most importantly, we consider ourselves a family! My students love to help each other grow and challenge each other to think outside the box!
My Project
Technology allows my students to take charge of their own learning. Unfortunately our class doesn't have enough Chromebooks for each child to have their own. Many of my students also don't have access to computers at home.
This Chromebook will be beneficial to my students in many ways.
Technology is quickly becoming essential for students everywhere. By having a computer for each child we can increase their ability to work independently. Students will be able to research topics and will be able to contribute during discussions instead of waiting for their peers to finish searching. They will also have the opportunity to improve their typing skills.
I want every student to have the same opportunities. This project will help my students grow independent and give them the chance to experience technology to the fullest.
